CVE-2025-62686 2025-12-03 N/A 6.2 MEDIUM
A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Plugin Alliance InstallationHelper service included with Plugin Alliance Installation Manager v1.4.0 on macOS. Due to the absence of a hardened runtime and a __RESTRICT segment, a local user may exploit the DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES environment variable to inject a dynamic library, potentially resulting in code execution with elevated privileges.
CVE-2025-55076 2025-12-03 N/A 6.2 MEDIUM
A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the InstallationHelper service included with Plugin Alliance Installation Manager v1.4.0 for macOS. The service accepts unauthenticated XPC connections and executes input via system(), which may allow a local user to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges.
CVE-2025-7044 2025-12-03 N/A 7.7 HIGH
An Improper Input Validation vulnerability exists in the user websocket handler of MAAS. An authenticated, unprivileged attacker can intercept a user.update websocket request and inject the is_superuser property set to true. The server improperly validates this input, allowing the attacker to self-promote to an administrator role. This results in full administrative control over the MAAS deployment.
CVE-2025-11561 2025-12-03 N/A 8.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in the integration of Active Directory and the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) on Linux systems. In default configurations, the Kerberos local authentication plugin (sssd_krb5_localauth_plugin) is enabled, but a fallback to the an2ln plugin is possible. This fallback allows an attacker with permission to modify certain AD attributes (such as userPrincipalName or samAccountName) to impersonate privileged users, potentially resulting in unauthorized access or privilege escalation on domain-joined Linux hosts.
CVE-2025-65621 2025-12-03 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
Snipe-IT before 8.3.4 allows stored XSS, allowing a low-privileged authenticated user to inject JavaScript that executes in an administrator's session, enabling privilege escalation.
CVE-2025-59705 2025-12-03 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
Entrust nShield Connect XC, nShield 5c, and nShield HSMi through 13.6.11, or 13.7, allow a Physically Proximate Attacker to Escalate Privileges by enabling the USB interface through chassis probe insertion during system boot, aka "Unauthorized Reactivation of the USB interface" or F01.
CVE-2025-59693 2025-12-03 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
The Chassis Management Board in Entrust nShield Connect XC, nShield 5c, and nShield HSMi through 13.6.11, or 13.7, allows a physically proximate attacker to obtain debug access and escalate privileges by bypassing the tamper label and opening the chassis without leaving evidence, and accessing the JTAG connector. This is called F02.
CVE-2024-27301 2025-12-03 N/A 7.3 HIGH
Support App is an opensource application specialized in managing Apple devices. It's possible to abuse a vulnerability inside the postinstall installer script to make the installer execute arbitrary code as root. The cause of the vulnerability is the fact that the shebang `#!/bin/zsh` is being used. When the installer is executed it asks for the users password to be executed as root. However, it'll still be using the $HOME of the user and therefore loading the file `$HOME/.zshenv` when the `postinstall` script is executed. An attacker could add malicious code to `$HOME/.zshenv` and it will be executed when the app is installed. An attacker may leverage this vulnerability to escalate privilege on the system. This issue has been addressed in version 2.5.1 Rev 2. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2021-37942 1 Elastic 1 Apm Java Agent 2025-12-03 N/A 7.0 HIGH
A local privilege escalation issue was found with the APM Java agent, where a user on the system could attach a malicious plugin to an application running the APM Java agent. By using this vulnerability, an attacker could execute code at a potentially higher level of permissions than their user typically has access to.
CVE-2021-37937 1 Elastic 1 Elasticsearch 2025-12-03 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
An issue was found with how API keys are created with the Fleet-Server service account. When an API key is created with a service account, it is possible that the API key could be created with higher privileges than intended. Using this vulnerability, a compromised Fleet-Server service account could escalate themselves to a super-user.
CVE-2022-38774 2 Elastic, Microsoft 3 Endgame, Endpoint Security, Windows 2025-12-03 N/A 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the quarantine feature of Elastic Endpoint Security and Elastic Endgame for Windows, which could allow unprivileged users to elevate their privileges to those of the LocalSystem account.
CVE-2022-38777 2 Elastic, Microsoft 3 Endgame, Endpoint Security, Windows 2025-12-03 N/A 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the rollback feature of Elastic Endpoint Security for Windows, which could allow unprivileged users to elevate their privileges to those of the LocalSystem account.
CVE-2022-38775 2 Elastic, Microsoft 2 Endpoint Security, Windows 2025-12-03 N/A 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the rollback feature of Elastic Endpoint Security for Windows, which could allow unprivileged users to elevate their privileges to those of the LocalSystem account.
CVE-2021-37941 1 Elastic 1 Apm Agent 2025-12-03 4.4 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
A local privilege escalation issue was found with the APM Java agent, where a user on the system could attach a malicious file to an application running with the APM Java agent. Using this vector, a malicious or compromised user account could use the agent to run commands at a higher level of permissions than they possess. This vulnerability affects users that have set up the agent via the attacher cli 3, the attach API 2, as well as users that have enabled the profiling_inferred_spans_enabled option
CVE-2021-37938 1 Elastic 1 Kibana 2025-12-03 4.0 MEDIUM 4.3 MEDIUM
It was discovered that on Windows operating systems specifically, Kibana was not validating a user supplied path, which would load .pbf files. Because of this, a malicious user could arbitrarily traverse the Kibana host to load internal files ending in the .pbf extension. Thanks to Dominic Couture for finding this vulnerability.
CVE-2020-7020 1 Elastic 1 Elasticsearch 2025-12-03 3.5 LOW 3.1 LOW
Elasticsearch versions before 6.8.13 and 7.9.2 contain a document disclosure flaw when Document or Field Level Security is used. Search queries do not properly preserve security permissions when executing certain complex queries. This could result in the search disclosing the existence of documents the attacker should not be able to view. This could result in an attacker gaining additional insight into potentially sensitive indices.
CVE-2020-7009 1 Elastic 1 Elasticsearch 2025-12-03 6.5 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Elasticsearch versions from 6.7.0 before 6.8.8 and 7.0.0 before 7.6.2 contain a privilege escalation flaw if an attacker is able to create API keys. An attacker who is able to generate an API key can perform a series of steps that result in an API key being generated with elevated privileges.
CVE-2020-7019 1 Elastic 1 Elasticsearch 2025-12-03 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
In Elasticsearch before 7.9.0 and 6.8.12 a field disclosure flaw was found when running a scrolling search with Field Level Security. If a user runs the same query another more privileged user recently ran, the scrolling search can leak fields that should be hidden. This could result in an attacker gaining additional permissions against a restricted index.
CVE-2020-7014 1 Elastic 1 Elasticsearch 2025-12-03 6.5 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
The fix for CVE-2020-7009 was found to be incomplete. Elasticsearch versions from 6.7.0 to 6.8.7 and 7.0.0 to 7.6.1 contain a privilege escalation flaw if an attacker is able to create API keys and also authentication tokens. An attacker who is able to generate an API key and an authentication token can perform a series of steps that result in an authentication token being generated with elevated privileges.
CVE-2020-7018 1 Elastic 1 Enterprise Search 2025-12-03 4.0 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Elastic Enterprise Search before 7.9.0 contain a credential exposure flaw in the App Search interface. If a user is given the developer role, they will be able to view the administrator API credentials. These credentials could allow the developer user to conduct operations with the same permissions of the App Search administrator.
